McClellan, Walter capture Tri-State PGA Pro-Pro event

The team of Rob McClellan and Gene Walter combined to shot a 10-under par 132 on Monday to capture the Tri-State PGA Mountaineer Pro-Pro Championship.

The pair won by two strokes over two teams at the Pines Country Club in Morgantown, W.Va.

Tying for second place were the teams of Joe Boros-Denny Dolci and Kevin Shields-Jason Martin. Each shot an 8-under 143.

Carmen Costa-Zack Turek placed fourth at 5-under 137.

McClellan and Walters shot a 7-under 64 during the second round to clinch the title.
