Minor league report: Nailers routed by Fuel

Goaltender Jaxon Castor made 17 saves on 24 shots for the Wheeling Nailers who were routed by the Indy Fuel, 7-2, at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. on Tuesday.

The result dropped Castor’s record to 6-4-0.

Defenseman Davis Bunz and forward William Provost each scored goals for Wheeling (34-25-2-1).

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday, 7:10 p.m.
