BetMGM: 3 exciting NFL picks and parlays in Week 14
By BetMGM staff writer
The Week 14 NFL games have arrived and with them come more NFL picks and parlays for bettors to choose from.
BetMGM has the latest NFL odds with a few opportunistic parlay bets on the board this week.
What are they? Here are three of my most recommended parlays for Week 14.
Broncos -6.5 and Under 40.5 (+240)
If you want to take a parlay that has a chance at an excellent return, then this is one that you might want to consider. In this game, the Denver Broncos are 10-point favorites, and the normal over/under is 42.
This alternative option forces you to take 1.5 points off an already-low point total. But, you get points in your favor on the spread.
I think this is a great spot to back Denver on both against the Detroit Lions. Going into this game, they have the league’s best under record at 10-2. They also give up the third-fewest points in the NFL (18.2) while facing a Lions offense that ranks 29th in points per game (16.9).
This year, the Broncos are 3-0 against teams that currently average fewer than 20 points per game. In those three games, they gave up 26 total points.
Chargers Money Line and Under 44.5 (+110)
I like this alternative option because I believe the Los Angeles Chargers will win the game outright, and I also think this game will go under the point total because I have no faith in the New York Giants‘ offense.
The Giants scored just 22 points in their last two games. The Giants also have major QB questions, with Daniel Jones unlikely to play due to a neck injury and Mike Glennon suffering a concussion in last week’s loss.
That means that QB Jake Fromm, who the Giants just signed off of Buffalo’s practice squad, will get his first career start. The Chargers have the league’s seventh-best passing defense, allowing just 209.5 passing yards per game.
New York does not have support from their rushing attack to take advantage of the Chargers’ 31st-ranked rushing defense. The Giants rank 26th in rushing yards per game (90.8) and have struggled to get anything going there throughout the season.
I like the Chargers to win the game outright and go under the total.
Cardinals Money Line and Over 44.5 (+135)
With QB Kyler Murray and WR DeAndre Hopkins back from their injuries for the Arizona Cardinals, I like their chances of putting up many points in this game. They average 28.6 per game for the season and scored 33 points in last week’s win over the Chicago Bears.
The Los Angeles Rams can put up points themselves, averaging 28 per game on the season. In these teams’ first meeting back in Week 4, they put up 57 combined in a game that the Cardinals won on the road 37-20.
I like the Cardinals to win the rematch at home as well. They not only have one of the best offenses in the NFL, but they have a strong defense as well. They allow the fourth-fewest points in the NFL (18.7) and have the league’s second-best turnover margin (+12).
Matthew Stafford has thrown five interceptions in his previous four games. Against an offense like the Cardinals, you can’t give them extra possessions. To me, that will be the difference here with the Cardinals coming out on top and both teams putting up enough points to pay off this alternative bet.
