The first Super Bowl FanFest in Pittsburgh, a free event, is at capacity.

Verizon is bringing a Super Bowl LIX experience to 30 NFL cities across the country, including 20 NFL stadiums.

Acrisure Stadium is one of them. Fans will have access to the UPMC Club Level and FedEx Great Hall. Former players such as Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes will make an appearance.

Field access will be determined by each team and weather conditions.

Televisions will be showing the game — kick-off is at 6:30 p.m. between the Kansas City Chiefs, who are after a third-consecutive championship, and the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome.

The lowest available ticket for that game was $5,495 on Ticketmaster, as of Monday night.

“Instead of spending millions of dollars on a 30-second commercial, why not spend it on this type of fan event,” said Jeff Kew, communications manager for Verizon. “Fans will have access to spaces in the stadium they don’t always have access to, from locker rooms to the tunnel where the players walk down to get on the field.”

At Acrisure, the Pittsburgh Steeline, a professional drum line, will perform.

A Steelers spokesperson directed all inquiries about the event to Verizon.

The max amount of people for Pittsburgh is 2,449, Kew said, adding that there will be a few additional ticket giveaways.

Verizon is transforming the stadium spaces for a free celebration with food and beverages from locally-owned small businesses, meet and greets with professional football players, live local music and interactive games and fan experiences. Some locations will offer tours of the players’ locker rooms.
