Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry will be sidelined a minimum of three weeks due to an undisclosed injury.
The team announced the status of Jarry as well as injured forwards Noel Acciari (minimum three weeks) and Justin Brazeau (minimum four weeks) via a social media posting Wednesday morning.
All three players were placed on injured reserve Tuesday due to unspecified ailments.
Jarry has been the team’s winningest goaltender this season. Appearing in seven games, he has a 5-2-0 record, a 2.60 goals-against average, a .911 save percentage and one shutout.
Acciari, primarily deployed on the right wing of the fourth line as well as the penalty kill, has played in 13 games and recorded three assists while logging an average of 12:56 of ice time per contest.
Brazeau has missed the previous two games due to his ailment. Largely working on the right wing of the second line as well as the second power-play unit, Brazeau has emerged as the team’s third-leading scorer with 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 12 games.
That trio joins a group of incumbent teammates already on injured reserve, including forwards Kevin Hayes (suspected left shoulder) and Rickard Rakell (left hand) as well as defenseman Caleb Jones (suspected left foot).
Three rookies — goaltender Joel Blomqvist (undisclosed), Rutger McGroarty (undisclosed) and Jack St. Ivany (suspected right foot) — are on the injured non-roster list as a result of injuries suffered before the regular season opened.

• Rookie forward Filip Hallander took to the ice before practice began but departed just as it did open. Coach Dan Muse did not offer a a status for him following the session.
• Hayes, currently designated to injured reserve due to a suspected left shoulder injury he suffered on the first day of training camp Sept. 18, is not expected to be available for Thursday’s home game against the Washington Capitals.
• Graves and Clifton departed the ice before Dumba and Brunicke. That is generally a strong suggestion over who is bound to be in the lineup versus being scratched.
• Brunicke, a rookie who is still eligible to return to the junior level, has appeared in nine games this season. Should he appear in a 10th, the first year of his three-year entry-level contract will offically be activated. Muse indicated no decision has been made as of yet on Brunicke.
• The top power-play unit included Crosby, Karlsson, Kindel, Malkin and Rust. The second unit involved Koivunen, Letang, Mantha, Novak and Tomasino.
