Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Tristan Broz and goaltender Sergei Murashov were selected for the American Hockey League’s (AHL) All-Star Classic event.

The AHL announced the rosters for all four divisions on Thursday. Broz and Murashov, two of the Pittsburgh Penguins’ leading prospects, will represent the Atlantic Division.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton coach Kirk MacDonald will serve in the same capacity for the Atlantic Division.

Broz, a left-handed shot, is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s leading scorer this season. Typically deployed as that team’s top center, he has 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 34 AHL contests.

A second-round draft pick (No. 58 overall) in 2021, he made his NHL debut earlier this season, appearing in a single game without any points while registering 11:30 of ice time.

Murashov, who catches right-handed, has played in 18 AHL contests this season, posting a 13-4-0 record, a 2.03 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage and two shutouts.

A fourth-round draft pick (No. 118 overall) in 2022, Murashov also made his NHL debut this season. Appearing in five NHL games, he has a 1-1-2 record, a 2.56 goals-against average, an .897 save percentage and one shutout.

The AHL All-Star Classic is a three-on-three round robin tournament. It will be held Feb. 11 in Rockford, Ill.
