The Pittsburgh Penguins will turn to Tristan Jarry in net Tuesday for a visit from the Colorado Avalanche, coach Mike Sullivan announced following his club’s morning skate in Cranberry.

Jarry is riding a four-game winning streak, the longest stretch of successful consecutive starts he’s managed dating back to November 2023.

Most recently, Jarry stopped 25 of 27 shots in Saturday’s win over the Maple Leafs.

That contest, plus his prior three vs. the Canucks, Bruins and Flames, featured Jarry post a combined .914 save percentage and 2.75 goals-against average.

Jarry is 5-3-1 with a 3.68 GAA and .888 save percentage this season.

On the injury front, forward Philip Tomasino is a game-time decision Tuesday, per Sullivan.

Tomasino, after leaving with an injury in the third period of last Thursday’s loss to the New York Rangers, missed the Penguins’ win over Toronto on Saturday before returning to practice Monday in a non-contact capacity.

The 23-year-old hit the ground running immediately post-trade from the Nashville Predators at the end of November, contributing three goals and an assist through his first five games in a Penguins sweater.

Tomasino participated in morning skate Tuesday and briefly chatted with media members afterward.

“Felt pretty good today, so we’ll see what happens here,” Tomasino said.

The full list of morning skate attendees were as follows:

Forwards: Tomasino, Blake Lizotte, Kevin Hayes, Cody Glass, Matt Nieto, Evgeni Malkin, Jesse Puljujarvi

Defensemen: Owen Pickering, Ryan Shea

Goalies: Alex Nedeljkovic

• Shea and Nieto stayed on the ice for additional work long after the morning skate concluded, which is normally a sign of being a healthy scratch on game nights.

• Scott Wedgewood is expected to start in net for Colorado. In eight games this season, Wedgewood has a 3-3-1 record, a 2.82 GAA, .906 save percentage and one shutout. Throughout his career, Wedgewood has played the Penguins in six games and has a 2-2-0 record, a 2.74 GAA, a .927 save percentage and one shutout.

• Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen has played in 599 career games.
