The Met Gala in New York City drew dozens of glamorous celebs, but sports stars also crashed the event.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen attended.
Serena Williams wore a yellow dress accompanied by yellow Nikes.
Former New York Yankees and current ESPN analyst Alex Rodriguez and singer Jennifer Lopez were decked out in pink.
Former Miami Heat Dwyane Wade was there with his wife actress Gabrielle Union.
Colin Kaepernick, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, was there with his girlfriend TV and radio personality Nessa.
The Cleveland Brown’s newly-signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. rocked a tuxedo with cut-off sleeves and pants.
While Saquon Barkley, former Penn State and current N.Y. Giants running back, showed off his huge legs with a shorts to go with his black suit.
Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was also in attendance.
British racing driver Lewis Hamilton wore a black and glittery suit.
Tennis player Maria Sharapova of Russia was in a black and pink dress.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City hosts the Costume Institute Gala, popularly known as the Met Gala, every year on the first Monday of May to kick off the opening of the Institute’s popular fashion exhibition.
Theme for this year’s event was “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, “Notes on ‘Camp,’” which explored the artifice, stylization and exaggeration that define the term.
