INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 72-70) used a four-run eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and beat St. Paul (Twins), 7-3. On a night when Indianapolis called up six players from Altoona, RF Matt Gorski (.500) went 1 for 2 and DH Endy Rodriguez (.667) hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. Starter RHP Osvaldo Bido (4.17) allowed one unearned run, walked four and struck out 10 in five innings and gave way to RHP John O’Reilly (5.97), who went 1.1 innings and allowed a two-run inside-the-park home run in the seventh to tie the game. C Jose Godoy (.227) smashed a solo homer in the seventh, his sixth, and an RBI double in the eighth. 1B Brendt Citta (.267) continued his hot streak by hitting a sacrifice fly in the sixth and a two-run single in the eighth. RF Jared Oliva (.258) came in late for Gorski and also smacked a two-run single in the eighth.
