PNC Park unveils new menu items for this baseball season
Aramark, the Pittsburgh Pirates’ food partner for the past 52 years, has several new menu offerings for this year’s baseball season.
Additions include the fried almond torte, Polish cannonball and a chipped ham empanada.
The torte is funnel cake batter dipped, fried and topped with raspberry sauce, icing and burnt almonds.
The Polish cannonball features egg noodles, kielbasa, cabbage, bacon, cheddar cheese and herb crema dip.
As for that chipped ham empanada, it’s an empanada filled with barbecue chipped ham, cheddar cheese and pickles.
All three items will be available at the Cannonball Stand (in Section 146).
Other new items that double as a souvenir include the popcorn bat, a cotton candy mask and a fastball souvenir cup.
The bat is a 98-ounce collectible, team-branded souvenir featuring an attached lid an an embossed wood-grain texture.
The foam mask showcases MLB mascots and is available in one size that is adjustable for kids and adults.
The cup is a baseball-shaped cup designed to hold frozen cocktails or beverages served on ice and adorned with each team’s logo.
Players will also be looking for something new this season, as the club went 76-86 in 2024, just as they did in 2023.
The home opener is April 4.
