A PNC Park employee was suspended after fighting with a fan after Sunday’s Pirates game.

As fans were leaving the North Shore ballpark, an argument broke out between two male fans and a female food and beverage employee, said Brian Warecki, senior vice president of communications for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Another ballpark gameday worker then attempted to intervene, he said.

Video circulating on social media shows the worker brawling with a fan.

At one point, the worker takes off his belt and strikes the fan with it after the fan appeared to spit on him.

“The employee’s behavior was entirely unacceptable, and he was immediately suspended,” Warecki said in a statement on Tuesday. “This incident is currently under further investigation.”

No criminal charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning, Pittsburgh public safety spokeswoman Eliza Durham said.
