Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC coach Bob Lilley will lead his team through a 34-game 2022 season.

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Wednesday released their 2022 USL Championship schedule.

The Riverhounds will face a mix of new and familiar foes throughout the 34-game slate.

Highlights include four road trips to face Western Conference teams. It will be the first time Pittsburgh will play in the Mountain or Pacific time zones since 2014.

There also are key home games over the summer against Indy Eleven, Miami FC and Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Defending league champion Orange County SC will pay a visit to Highmark Stadium on Sept. 24.

All USL Championship matches again will be streamed via ESPN+, with the exception of those airing live on ESPN or ESPN2.

The season begins March 12 at Memphis 901 FC, and the Riverhounds kick off their 10th season at Highmark Stadium against Hartford Athletic on March 19.

Pittsburgh is seeking its fifth consecutive playoff berth under coach Bob Lilley.

The Riverhounds will close out the opening month at USL newcomer Detroit City FC on March 26.

The team also will make first-ever trips to face FC Tulsa and the Las Vegas Lights in April.

Kickoff times are to be determined. Tickets packages are on sale now at Riverhounds.com. The on-sale date for single-game tickets will be announced soon.
