Robert Morris’ TJ Wainwright (5) celebrates making a 3-pointer against Detroit Mercy on Jan. 17, 2024, at UPMC Events Center.

Robert Morris lost two players from its men’s basketball roster to the NCAA transfer portal, according to Rivals Portal, but added one in coach Andy Toole’s efforts to rebuild from a 10-22 season.

Sophomore wing T.J. Wainwright and freshman guard Alfredo Boglio entered the portal while Toole received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-5 guard Josh Omojafo, who scored 699 points (20 per game) for Division II Gannon this season. The Portal Report was first to report Omojafo joining the Colonials.

Omojafo, a native of Hamilton, Ontario, scored 30 or more points in three games — West Chester (32), California (30) and Millersville (30 in the PSAC Tournament).

Omojafo helped Gannon (32-3, 20-3) finish undefeated in 21 home games on the way to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.

Wainwright averaged 10 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Colonials in 27 games (six starts). Boglio, a native of Novaro, Italy, played in 14 games with two starts and averaged 3.1 points.
