Two defensive starters returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, but one on offense did not take any reps as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to face the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium.

It’s the first free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) and inside linebacker Elandon Roberts (pectoral) practiced in any capacity since sustaining their respective injuries. Fitzpatrick has missed the past two games, and Roberts sat out the Steelers’ 30-23 win at Seattle last weekend.

On the flip side, running back Najee Harris sat out with a knee injury a day after he was a limited participant at the outset of the practice week. Harris has been bothered by the injury, but he has not missed any starts because of it.

Also practicing on a limited basis for the second day in a row were defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and backup safety Trenton Thompson. Guard Isaac Seumalo was a full participant after being limited Tuesday.

Outside linebacker T.J. Watt and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi also were limited in practice, although neither had an injury designation.

Quarterback Kenny Pickett, who is expected to serve as Mason Rudolph’s backup in Baltimore, practiced fully for the second day in a row as he recovers from ankle surgery.
