Some Patriots fans think they've figured out whose face is the team's logo
John Kerry’s connection with New England just might be deeper than previously was known.
The former Massachusetts senator and previous Democratic presidential nominee was briefly a trending topic on Twitter on Wednesday night.
Depending on your perspective, the face on the logo for the New England Patriots may (or may not) resemble Kerry.
No one will admit that the man on the New England Patriots logo is John Kerry. It's so obvious but no one will admit it. When will we stop being such cowards? When will we stop living in the dark? pic.twitter.com/RIfPmPN6Mg

“Whom amongst us does not enjoy being logoed?” one Tweeter asked, apparently speaking in Olde English.
Kerry’s military service doesn’t go back quite that far, but he did serve in the Vietnam War and received several honors.
This user felt the logo resembled a different military man, yet still another recognizable figure: Tom Selleck.
it's just that people have a hard time recognizing 90s era, no moustache tom selleck. pic.twitter.com/HGWNokKbXe

Kerry was a senator in Massachusetts before challenging then-President George W. Bush in 2004. He served as secretary of State in the Obama Administration from 2013-17.
