Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi began becoming affected by a groin injury over the past two days of practice and is questionable to play in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The groin injury that began affecting veteran defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi over the past two days of Pittsburgh Steelers practice has left him as officially questionable to play in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Ogunjobi joined quarterback Russell Wilson and outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon with “questionable” designations on the league-mandated injury report released after Friday’s practice.

Wilson remained a limited practice participant for the fourth consecutive week since his calf injury was aggravated just prior to the regular-season opener. Wilson has served as the “emergency” No. 3 quarterback for all four prior games this season, and it is expected he will do so again behind Justin Fields and Kyle Allen during Sunday night’s game.

Moon (ankle) remains on injured reserve and would need activated to the active roster Saturday, but he was a full practice participant all week in his first on-field activities since opening up the regular season on IR.

As expected, running backs Jaylen Warren (knee) and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (groin) and tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) were ruled out after none practiced at all throughout the week. Highsmith will miss a third consecutive game, and Pruitt has not played since Week 2.

A pair of defensive starters — outside linebacker Nick Herbig and defensive lineman Keeanu Benton — who missed some practice time this week because of ankle injuries were full participants Friday and will play Sunday.
