The only player on the roster to have been with the Steelers for multiple playoff victories, Boswell bounced back from a subpar 2022 to make 56 of 59 kicks last season. But the Steelers brought in camp competition anyway.

5 CAMERON JOHNSTON · 5-11 · 194

Tired of Pressley Harvin III’s inconsistencies, the Steelers quickly targeted veteran punter Johnston in free agency. The 32-year-old, seven-year NFL veteran agreed to a three-year, $9 million contract to stabilize the Steelers’ punting game.

Back for a fourth tour with the Steelers, the 28-year-old kicker has 24 regular-season games worth of NFL experience. Seven of those (three in 2020, four in 2022) came with the Steelers. He’s made 35 of 37 career field-goal attempts with a long of 59 yards.
