T.J. Watt, Cameron Heyward, Chris Boswell represent Steelers on football writers' all-NFL team
T.J. Watt was one of eight repeat selections and among three Pittsburgh Steelers players voted to the all-NFL team Monday by the Professional Football Writers of America.
Watt was named to the list for the second consecutive year and fifth time in his career. Also among the players honored by the PFWA were defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and kicker Chris Boswell. Heyward was recognized for the third time in his career, the last coming in 2021. Boswell was selected for the first time.
The Denver Broncos had four players make the all-NFL list. The Steelers joined the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs as teams with three players included. The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals had two apiece.
Watt, Heyward and Boswell also were named to the PFWA all-AFC team.
The PFWA will announce its all-rookie team Tuesday.
Note: The Steelers signed running back Jonathan Ward to a reserve/futures contract Monday. He appeared in four games last season and finished the year on the practice squad.
