IU Indianapolis forward DeSean Goode (2) looks to pass around Iowa State center Dishon Jackson during a game last season.

Robert Morris men’s basketball coach Andy Toole continued to rebuild his roster Monday after receiving a commitment from transfer DeSean Goode.

Goode, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 7.8 points and 6.0 rebounds as a freshman at IU Indy last season.

He shot 50.6% from the field and 36% from 3-point range and was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman team. He also was a three-time Horizon League Freshman of the Week.

Goode played in 30 games, starting 20, for the Horizon League rival. He scored 18 points against Robert Morris.

He played at Fairmont (W.Va.) Senior High School before playing a postgrad season at Fort Union Military Academy, where he averaged 13 points and 8.2 rebounds. He helped Fairmont win back-to-back state championships and was a first-team all-state selection after averaging 18.4 points his senior year.

Over the weekend, Toole also secured commitments from guard Jeremiah Littlejohn, who averaged 18.2 points and 4.5 rebounds at Western Oklahoma junior college, as well as prep forward Samuel Obenjo, who played at Layton Christian (Utah) and also has experience with the Swedish National team.
