A podcast about all things Penn State will be the first production to air on the new TribLIVE Podcast Network.

Trib Total Media is partnering with Blue White Media to distribute “The Obligatory PSU Pregame Show,” a weekly video podcast. The latest episode will launch Thursday.

Brandon Noble, a standout defensive tackle for Penn State who went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, will partner with Mike “the Mailman” Herr, a beloved Happy Valley retired postal carrier; Chris Buchignani, the founding president of The Nittany Valley Society; and Kevin Horne, who is the proud holder of three Penn State degrees and former managing editor of Onward State.

“It’s just four guys who like to drink beer and talk about all things Penn State,” Noble said. “That’s really what we do.”

The video podcast will be an informal conversation among the guys and will feature guests from the State College area.

“Really, this whole thing started in somebody’s backyard,” Noble said.

The show will feature less football analysis and focus more on giving viewers a taste of what people are talking about in Happy Valley.

“It’s really more of a tailgate type of conversation,” Noble said. “We want to bring Happy Valley home to the people who can’t get back here.

”We’re really excited to be on TribLIVE now.”
