Phil Mickelson watches his tee shot on the 10th hole during a practice round for the U.S. Open Championship golf tournament, Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Golf’s U.S. Open starts today. So that’s the topic of our Thursday “Breakfast With Benz” podcast.

We turn to our expert on the links, Brian Taylor of “Real Golf Radio.” http://www.realgolfradio.com. He joins us to talk about all the major championships.

Those events are often won by Brooks Koepka. He has four under his belt already, including the past two U.S. Opens. Can he make it three in a row?

If it’s not going to be Koepka, then the gambling money seems to be going toward Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Dustin Johnson.

Taylor tells us who is the best bet out of that bunch.

Also, Pebble Beach may play a little bit differently than what fans of the course are used to seeing. Taylor gives us a look at the specifics.

And we talk about Phil Mickelson quite a bit. Is this his last, best chance to finally win a U.S. Open?

LISTEN: Tim Benz and Brian Taylor talk U.S. Open golf and Brooks Koepka’s chances at a threepeat
