Center Zach Frazier and tight end Pat Freiermuth joined guard Isaac Seumalo and receiver Scotty Miller as those who sat out Wednesday’s Pittsburgh Steelers practice because of injury.

Frazier is still nursing a calf injury that greatly limited his practice time last week but did not prevent him from playing in Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. Freiermuth also played Sunday and was not known to have an injury that might cause him to miss time.

Seumalo suffered a pectoral injury during that game and is unlikely to be available for this coming Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Miller was not available for the Green Bay game and likely won’t be able to face the Colts, either.

It already was known that starting safety DeShon Elliott and defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale were going to be out because of knee injuries, but Wednesday’s injury report codified that.

Depth receiver and special-teamer Ben Skowronek was listed as limited Wednesday because of a neck injury, and tight end Jonnu Smith was given the day off.

Three players who are on the injured reserve list but returned to practice — inside linebacker Malik Harrison, cornerback Cory Trice and backup quarterback Will Howard — each were regarded as full participants Thursday.
